I was born a Mississippi girl, but I found my love for painting in Birmingham, Alabama. I graduated from Samford University with a Bachelors in Fine Arts and a minor in Psychology. I'm still finding myself in my art, but for me, it's really all about the process of creating. My heart sings when the brush meets the canvas, and I know I’m doing what I was created to do. Nature is my favorite form of inspiration, and I would describe the majority of my work as abstract impressionistic (but every now and then, I can’t help but dip back into my photorealism roots too!). Color has stolen my heart, challenged me, and inspired me in wonderful ways lately, and I can't wait to keep creating, learning about this craft, and doing what I love most.
